Officially opened on July 2, 2013, the new Vee Quiva Hotel & Casino in Laveen, Arizona, is one of three casinos owned and operated by the Gila River Indian Community in Chandler, Arizona. Poor ventilation, outdated construction and limited floor space prompted the planning and building of a new casino—this time with a 90-room boutique hotel.
